The ADDERLink INFINITY 2122 is a high-performance IP KVM extender that is part of the ALIF matrix solution. This allows critical computing hardware to be relocated to a secure and temperature-controlled environment that is disconnected from the user's workstation, while maintaining a pixel-perfect desktop experience.

Features

Perfect digital Video, control in real time
Using a spatially lossless encoding system with 1:1 pixel mapping, the ALIF2122 delivers pixel-perfect, color-accurate video without artifacts. The digital video received is the same as the digital video leaving the remote computer.

Standard IP Technology
The use of standard IP technology allows the choice between CATx and fiber optic connections (1x RJ45 1GbE SFP module included). Reliability is ensured by the optional second network connection, which offers a teaming function for load-balanced and critical systems.

Unlimited expansion distances
The expansion distance is not limited to a single cable length of 100 meters limited. If you want to expand further, simply add a 1GbE network device to achieve an additional 100 meters, which can be repeated many times. Also equipped with SFP cages that can accommodate fiber optic transceivers for even greater distances.

USB 2.0 with class control
Supports USB devices such as graphics tablets, jog shuttles, joysticks and 3D explorers as well as mass storage devices. For secure applications, the system can disable the use of non-HID devices, meaning there is no need to physically block USB ports to prevent the use of mass storage devices.

Flexible and scalable extender or Switch
Each ALIF2100 series device can be configured as a simple extender or as a self-managed distributed KVM switch. Each receiver can see up to 16 sources and quickly switch between them.

ADDERLink INFINITY Matrix
The ADDERLink INFINITY Management System (AIM) allows you to manage multiple point-to-point -Extender transforms into a truly scalable digital KVM matrix system, allowing any workstation to connect to any computer connected to the network. For more information, see the AIM data sheet.

EDID Management
Intelligent EDID management allows the actual characteristics of the monitor to be passed on to the computer. This ensures perfect video viewing without additional configuration.

Plug and Play
ADDERLink INFINITY devices are delivered in a zero configuration state, so you can plug them in and start working with them straight away can. No drivers or software need to be installed.

Redundant network operation
The devices support network teaming, enabling complete network redundancy and increased reliability for business-critical applications.

The ALIF2100 series supports two-channel digital audio inputs via USB and the digital video port.

Dual-touch screen support
Support for dual touch screens, including on-screen keyboard and floating home button with configurable size that can be positioned anywhere on the screen.

Support for Dithered Video
Enables the passage of analog or noisy video through the system along with computers that dither the video to improve the perceived image quality. Some Mac® computers use this technique.
